Eric Uitvlugt from Exxel Engineering attends the Michigan Street Corridor Plan Steering Committee meetings on behalf of the Medical Mile Resource Group. The Steering Committee is going through an extensive planning and review process in order to make recommendations that will positively impact the future growth along Michigan Street.

Partnership Provides Enhanced Opportunity for MSU Medical School

GRAND RAPIDS — The Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Grand Valley State University have agreed to establish a cooperative program of premedical and medical education by which Grand Rapids Community College students who transfer as undergraduate premedical students to GVSU will have the opportunity to be granted an early assurance of admission to MSU’s med school.

McDonald’s to Get Makeover on Medical Mile

The McDonald’s restaurant at 417 Michigan St. NE west of College Avenue has city approval to add a second drive-through lane that the company said should reduce vehicle backups and help process food orders more quickly.
