The Building Owners and Managers Association West Michigan was established in 1968 by downtown office building owners and managers to serve as a forum in which the members could develop a higher level of informed management skills by exchanging information; and in which they could work together to promote their interests before governmental bodies.  Since then membership has come to include suburban office building interests, governmental and medical facilities managers, and various members of the commercial real estate industry.  BOMA West Michigan is one of over 95 BOMA organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada.  The West Michigan Chapter is federated with BOMA International, the voice of the commercial real estate industry in Washington D.C.
